So, I'm taking 12 180s out of my SnG opener. I honestly do not know how or if I can run worse in 12 180s. Everytime I'm on the F2Ts I lose a critical 80/20 or 70/30. I don't care about the 60/40s. It is really hard to have any desire to play when I can not win a few hands deep in that effin tourn.

I'm taking out the 16 and 6.50 18s as well. The 16s are just too swingy for me. I think I'm an average 18 player but average players in poker lose money especially average SnG players. I'll have to refocus on the 45s and 7.70 180s.

I honestly have very little desire to play poker but it is my only means to make money atm. I really need to catch a break. I still put my money in good but this downswing is just plain ugly. I figured the 16 downswing is standard for players of my skill level (average) but the constant 70/30s hurt. The 6.50 45 downswing was a big time leak. I was shoving way to wide on the FT as the big stack. I've fixed that but its hard to recover from an 800 hole in 45s (I'm including my 27 45 losses). I'm up for the month in 45s but I honestly need 2k a month from 45s not 250.

The only postive thing is that I have everything paid up until August. The only bill I have to pay is ~200 a month.

My gf and I have joked around about moving to a Medical Marijuana state that allows patients to grow and then sell their leftovers to dispensiers. If we grew to the level that I garden then we could make about 12k every 6 months just growing plants. And no, I do not grow pot but I'm more than a capable gardener.

Well thats it for now.

yep....

7 out of 19 in flips today. I've resorted to making a mark for when I win or lose a flip.

I didn't count the 70/30s and 80/20s but I'm fairly certain that I'm losing chips with 99, JJ, QQ and AA. AQs and AQo killed me as well. I just bubbled with AQo. Villain opens utg. I went all in for like 6 bbs. She snapped off with A5o........................

Today has been great.

And the downswing continues.

I can't count how many times AT+ lost to A2-A9 today. Its beyond fcking ridiculous at this point.

If I had PT3 still I'd just look up the # of times I've been fcked by a 70/30 and 80/20 while on the bubble.

Here is a std hand for the past few weeks.

I put my money in good again but lose anyway. However, I'm running as expected when I'm in a 30/70 and 20/80. If I get into a 40/60 3-4 handed I know I'm done. I'll catch on the flop or turn but lose on the river. Now if you reverse it I'll lose.

I really hate how I feel while playing poker right now. I can't stand getting excited when fcking AK holds against Ax or feel relieved when my flopped boat holds.

and another one.....

Quick update:

I'm 23 games into my session. I've had to drop all 12s and move down to 3.25s and 6.50s. My downswing is still in full effect. I have not won a flip yet and I've already lost 2 70/30s and got caught into a 30/70 C/O AJs vs BB AKs. I've won 1 30/70 though. I've also pushed into KK 2x so far and both times he had it in the bb.

I nearly lost it when I saw my SS graph last night. My computer desk is a bit worse for wear. I slammed my hand down after I saw my 1200+ downswing and broke off my keyboard tray. I didn't even use 1/4 of my strength so I'm assuming that the keyboard tray was weakened by time. Its like 4 years old.

I'm considering putting up a BAS for Sunday. It'll probably just be 11 MTTs and under down to the 3.30 rebuy.

I ran around 85-90 games today. My #s are not accurate but I lost more 70/30s than I won and lost more races than I won. I also lost more 60/40s than I won yet I profited for the first time in a week. Is my downswing over? Of course not.

I got into 27 70/30s and won 10 of them.... yea 10.

I was in 23 30/70s and won just 5 of those.

I flipped ~ 29 times and won 8 of them. Yea 8. Fckin 8.

I ran as expected in 20/80s and 80/20s. I unfortunately lost two 80/20s on the money bubble.

I'll play more on Sat and Sun. Tomorrow I'm spending the day with my gf.

Well, I may move to the Toronto area. My gf's dad may get a job to run some 5 star resort outside Toronto. If he gets the job then she may leave and I plan on following her to Toronto. I'm not exactly living the high life here so it may be time to leave the Good Ole USA for my Northern neighbor. I've been told to leave this country more than once and I guess its time to leave.

I figured I'd finally post again. I am on an 750-850 upswing at the moment which is nice since I ended March in the red.

I fixed one of my leaks on the 45 FTs but more still remain. I'm not shoving as light from EP when I'm sitting with 7+ bbs. I'm not sure if shoving semi-light with 4-5 is right either. I'll have to work out some #s or just get SnGWiz next month.

I really wanted to post that I had a 1k upswing but I ran below my own expectations today. I have no one to blame buy myself. I was tired for my last 30-40 games and my results definitely show that I was fatigued. At this point I was already up for the day while playing 15 tables but I only managed to place 2nd in a 6.50 45 along with a few 5+ finishes in 12s and 6.50s which brought me to a slight positive for the day. I really thought I had a shot at another 500+ day in 45s. I made several marginal calls and shoves which I would have avoided earlier in the day.

And I need to do a lot more grinding this month. I have to earn ~6200 more VPPs this month to maintain Platinum. I don't think that I'll have a hard time reaching that goal since I am able to play 12 45s and the occasional 12 180. I normally earn 500+ when I include 12s but I'll likely stay around 350-450 a day. I'm still playing 15 tables at a time instead of 24. I'm not sure when I'll play 24 tables again but I'll start to add one or two tables later this month or at the beginning of May.

I jammed QJs utg w/ 10k which is nearly the bottom of my range. I ran into QQ and AQs. I had 3 outs on the flop and missed which isn't a big deal. I went on tilt though. I probably threw away 50-100.

And I'm running ridiculously bad in all in flips again. I was having a great day but I haven't won a significant flip in my last 20-30 games.

Well I was able to put in about 100 games today but that puts me at least 50 short of my session goal. I would have put in 150-200 games today but I decided to rearrange my room. I'm kind of surprised that I ended up around 300 for the day. I had a horrible final 20 game stretch. It felt like I lost every important 80/20, 70/30 and 50/50 while missing on every 40/60 but I pulled through in 3 games. I one won and placed top 5 in the other two. If I had ran a bit better in flips then I would have had a shot at a +500 day playing 45s.

I moved up to 20 tables too. I had a bit of a problem with the pace immediately after breaks but afterward I had no problem.

12 180s are still the bane of my existence. I lost an important 70/30 that would have put me in the top 5 with 27 left then bubbled on the btn with Q9. The SB had A5 so I was live but I failed to hit again. I'm not sure of my major leak in that game. I can only assume that I do not shove wide enough. [I only play 5-10 180s a day and that is a mix of 7.70s and 12s. If I don't turn it around by the end of this month then I'll stop with the 180s and focus on 45s]

In a word today sucked.

I'm down 34 buy ins today (including 180s). I fckin flopped boats 3x and lost two times to runner runner and once to an over trips completing on the river. I of course had no such luck today. If I flipped I lost more than I won. I couldn't hold a flip on a FT and KK might as well been 27 off. I started off great though. I won 3 6.50s and placed 2nd in another 6.50 in the first 20-25 games of my 110 game session. I placed 2nd in a few 12s as well in the next set but I completely bombed out of the next 50+ games. I don't even think I made a cash beyond 7th.

I hope I'm past flipping out over KK and QQ losing to two under cards heads up. It'd be nice if I could pull it off but I don't call off my stack with suited connectors when I have 10 bbs heads up.

I'll go over some hands when I get back here on Sunday but I'm satisfied with most of my play. I've tried shipping a bit wider on the btn and C/O when I'm under 10 bbs which worked for the most part. I was running into a lot of big hands which is a positive sign in one respect; my opponents are not calling me light. I also ran horribly BvB. I was shoving nearly ATC and ran into a constant stream of Ax, 77+ and broadway combos. It did not help that I kept losing big pots when I was 60/40 instead of 30/70 or 40/60.

O and am I the only one who gets tired of people calling off their stacks with 22-66 with 9-10 bbs? How can they not know that they're flipping or dominated most of the time? I know its plus EV for me long term but it is effin annoying to lose flips against that range.

Of course its even more frustrating when I make that call with 99+ and lose a flip or 70/30. I was knocked out of one of my last 12 45s by a similar situation. I raised to 495 from UTG and a semi-reg shoved 2900. He's not that good and I called. He had A9o and hit an ace on the flop. If I win that hand I'm sitting at 5-6k @ 200 or 400 blinds.

There were a lot of situations like that today and I lost most of them. Yesterday I ran a bit above expectation and pulled off 2.50+ per game. Today I lost most of what I won yesterday which puts me at around $1 per game played for this month. I'm not at all happy with that stat. I'm aiming for 1.5-2 per game which I think is sustainable at my level. If I pull that off then I'll probably pull off 4-6k per month with my current volume. I don't think I'll go over 100-150 per day.

O and I made 2 more (out of 7-10) F2Ts of 12 180s today....... I'm just going to take them out for the rest of the month. I think I'm just throwing money away at this point and that it is better to just focus on the 45s until I reach my goal then re-introduce 180s.

I'll run TopShark later but I'm wondering if a lot of this downswing is 180s again..........

I have updated or played for a few days. My life is getting in the way of poker volume but I'll get to put in a lot of volume tomorrow until the end of the month. I need 2300 more fpps or vpps to make platinum again this month. Last month I already had it by this time but thing have def not gone to plan.

My 45 roi has seriously regressed over the past few sessions. I was arguing with my gf a lot this week which really hurt my game. We got into it while I was playing a few days ago and that ended in a pretty serious downswing. I think I threw away 200-300 that day. I got most of it back in my next session but I went from 1.30-1.40 a game to just over 1 a game. I really need to maintain a win rate around 1.3-1.5 to make any money each month. I won't make that goal again this month but I'm still a work in progress.

I had a different problem today though. I accidently ran 25 tables for too long which is to say I hit 25 for a 20-30 minutes before I realized my mistake. I couldn't understand why the game seemed so fast today. It was my fault of course. I set it up a new SnG opener which worked fine but I set it up to open 25 tables instead of 20 tables. My computer can not handle that many tables so I missed out on a lot of oppturnities to profit.

I did not run all that bad today but I did have the misfortune of running bad on the F2Ts or bubbles. I lost a lot of flips but that'll happen. If I have the oppisite luck then I'll have another 500+ day. However, I lost another 80/20 for 40 bbs with 10 left in a 12 180 today. I honestly do not know how I can run this bad for this long at one game. I have the same underlying stats as some of the better grinders but I can not get passed the F2Ts. I'm only playing like 4-5 180s a day now.

Time for dinner..........

Today has been horrendous. I'm currently on a 15-25 buy in swing. I've run into AA too many times today. I've counted 6 in the past hour and each time its been aipf with a premium hand or bvb w/ a decent hand like KQo or A9o. I'm running terribly 4 handed again as well. The same thing happened the other day. I honestly don't know what to do.

I hit a downswing in 45s..again....and this is after my month long (26 day) upswing in 45s. I'm down ~45 buy ins since April 26th. My stats have not changed in term of late finishes or itm but my finishing positions have drastically changed. I have only won a handful of 45s since the 26th and by handful I mean I've only won 13 since the 26th. I've played well over 300 since the 26th. I'll have to review some hands to see if I'm pushing too tightly again but I believe its part running bad too.

Anyway I decided to donk off some money in cash games today..... I was doing great until I got tired.... I lost 1 buy in in plo and 2 buy ins in nlhe but all in all I was down about 75 at the end of the session.

I started to play again today. I only ran 1 session of 25 tables plus a few tables that turned over before I decided to end my session. I lost another flip heads up. QQ > AK in a 12 45 that I accidentally entered. I considered folding A7o a few hands later but I was super short. I had 3.5 bbs but he min raised which was out of character for him. I called anyway and he of course had QQ and they held.

I added 141 to account in that session. I mainly played 3.40 and 3.25 and those only added 31 to my account.

Hopefully this is a start of a semi-upswing.

I figured I'd make a quick update. I'm using AHK now. The latest Stars update killed PokerShortCuts and I needed a short cut program. I've tried Table Ninja but I don't see a need to pay for a program when I only play on stars. Once I move to FTP too I'll buy it.

StackandTile has allowed me to up my volume to 30 but I still play 20-25 tables at a time. I've been focusing on the 3 dollar level. I had no choice really. My bank roll collapsed down to 400 so I had to bite the bullet. I'm back to over 800 after two-three days of grinding.

I've started to include 18s in my grind. If I plan on a long grind then I'll put them in for the first hour or so then switch to 45s so I can have that 5 min break. Its worked well so far. I'm also pushing at my correct ranges again............................................. ............... I was way too tight on the FT during my downswing. I've fixed that and I've doubled my roll in two-three days.

I won't play 12 180s until I'm at 2500 (which is like 5-6 k of profit from now). I know thats super nitty of me but I really need to work on my ranges if I'm going to profit in 12+ 180s.

I think I hit a wall today. I've been running at about a dollar a game for the past week. Today was a set back. I'm just down 7-8 BI but I think a leak may have crept into my game. I'll have to go over some short handed hands to make sure I'm shoving wide enough and calling correctly. I really needed to not suck last month so I could have bought SnGWiz. That program saves so much damn time.

I'm in the midst of a break even streak of 200-500 games. I have not been able to put in much volume over the past couple of weeks. Today I only played 98 games and ended down 20 dollars.

My volume significantly dropped for a myriad of reasons.

I was having trouble walking for a week or so. I have a ligament damage in my right foot which can make it nearly impossible to push off. I'll sometimes have to grab a chair, wall, or some other object for support. I'm still having some trouble but its not that noticeable now.

My girlfriends car died and I've spent the better part of this week looking for cars with and with out her. We'll probably end up buying a 2000-01 Altima or Corolla. The two we're looking at have 30-50k miles which is great considering the year. We also almost bought a 1983 Mercedes 300TDT. It had 75k on it. If we bought it we'd convert it to WVO. Unfortunately I lost out to a last minute bid. Another one is up for auction but we'll probably pass on it.

Not much else has happened in my life personally. I haven't been able to play much but that'll change soon. I hope that my increased volume will coincide with more holds. I was demolished in the 6.50s today. AQs+ and QQ+ might as well have been 27o.

One day soon QQ+ will hold and I'll crack KK+ short handed.

I'm down another 15 BIs today. I'm not satisfied with my play but I should be up today. I really don't know how I manage to consistently lose 70/30s.

I'm down around 200 for the week. I've played 500-600 games which is 1,000 games less then I want to play. It'd be effin nice if AA and KK could effin hold short handed. Another nice thing would be to win an effin 70/30 itm or on the bubble. I'm getting called by A rag and consistently losing.

6.50s are a stealing money from me. This week my best 6.50 point total is only 199 for a 20 block and 643 for a 100 block. If I put it in good I'm toast or if I make a 1000000% std shove on the btn 3 handed the big stack will wake up w/ something to put me into a 30/70 that I will lose at a 10/90 clip. If I get heads up I'll almost always lose a 70/30. The last 6.50 that would have put me in the black for the day was KJo > K2o. If I won the hand the villain would have a less than one bb left. I of course lost.

Another session and another slight loss. I'm down 5 buy ins over 60-70 games today. I'm going to put in another 100-150. I will decide if I'm dropping the 6.50s after I finish my run today. I'm not sure why I run bad in these games and since I don't know why I'm running bad I'm may drop them.

.................. 27 bi upswing .........................
.................. 40+ bi downswing .....................

I have no idea why I can not effin hold with AA and KK. I went on tilt after losing with AA and KK 3 handed on two different tables at the same time. I made some major mistakes but that accounts for 5-6 games not 40 effin buy ins.

hmm, I think I'll just write a list.

1. My harddrive is dead. I'm back on an old ubuntu drive.
2. My gf and I nearly broke up a few nights ago but we're better now.
3. I am still running beyond awful in any and every game I try to play.
4. I've tightened up way too much on the bubble and on the final table.
5. I have started to have sharp pains by my right temple again. The last time I had this I would pass out. There is nothing actually wrong with my brain per se. I had this thoroughly checked out in the past.
6. My foot is better. I'm able to walk with out problems.
7. I have one more month to show that I can play poker.

soooooooooooo... I really need to get used to PS' annoying pop-up habits again. I folded a few big pairs. If my memory is correct I folded KK 2x and AA 1x. I folded AA with 6 left of a 6.50...... In my frustration well anger I broke part of my desk but thats better than breaking my fist.
