have you ever lost with 77xx in omaha. I can't remember that happening even ones.
sickest thing was (we were playing live) when my friend flopped 2x in a row quad 7's and at the same time I flopped 77722 boat on another table.

There is some merit to playing hands like 7789, 6778, 5677 and such if you're playing against decent opponents. (the decent opponents is always the hard part.) Those are the hands that play like set mining in holdem. If you can get in cheap and hit a flop you can stand to win a LOT because your opponent has a hard time putting you on them.

But yeah, most 77xx hands are trash.
